Gerardo Serrano
Analyst
Gerardo Serrano is an Analyst with the Institute on Healthcare Costs and Solutions. His areas of focus are Evidence Based Benefits Designs, Employee Health Plans and Solutions, Primary Care, and End of Life Care. Prior to joining the Business Group, Gerardo held a position as a Research Fellow with AARP analyzing state health reforms with respect to health disparities solutions. Prior to AARP, he worked at the Johns Hopkins Center for Injury Research and Prevention and the Center for Health Disparities Solutions as a research assistant collecting data for a variety of research projects.
Gerardo earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health Studies from the Johns Hopkins University. Currently, he is completing his practicum with the Business Group for his Masters of Health Science degree in Health Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where he also completed his certificate in Health Finance and Management.
