COVID-19 Meeting Policies

Business Group on Health is determined to protect the safety of its members, visitors and staff. We are committed to following the latest pandemic safety guidelines and restrictions in effect in Washington, DC.

This policy details requirements for 1) vaccination 2) masking and 3) COVID-19 exposure. The policy applies to all members, visitors and staff attending the in-person meetings held at Business Group offices, located at 20 F Street NW, Washington, DC.

  • 1 | Vaccination Requirements
We will require everyone who attends a Business Group meeting in-person to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. “Fully vaccinated” status will be determined in accordance with the CDC guidelines in effect at the time of the meeting.

Proof of vaccination may include:
  • Mobile Vaccine pass (e.g., State or Country-issued vaccine passes, Clear Pass)
  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) vaccination card (card photos are permissible) along with the Valid Photo I.D. (must include your name and date of birth)
Business Group on Health and its conference/event vendor partners will only verify the vaccination status of the participant for the purpose of attending the event. No vaccination data will be retained or shared with others.

  • 2 | Mask Requirements
If required per local DC Public Health guidelines at the time of the meeting, attendees may be required to wear a mask. If required, masks are to be worn for the duration of the meeting, except while eating or drinking in authorized areas, or when spending time outdoors if permitted by local guidelines. When not required per local guidelines, visitors may choose to wear masks, if preferred.

  • 3 | Exposure Requirements
If you do not feel well or have recently tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. If you were exposed to someone with COVID-19, you may have been infected with the virus. Follow the CDC’s recommendations for what to do if you were exposed. This includes wearing a high-quality mask when indoors around others for 10 days, testing, and monitoring yourself for symptoms.
The policies have been created to protect all attendees and staff. Anyone who does not comply with these policies will not be admitted. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation. For more information, please contact
