In July 2019, approximately 100 large employers and thought leaders attended a webinar hosted by the National Business Group on Health called Putting the Evidence into Practice: A Playbook for Managing Obesity in the Workforce. Using compelling data and research, Scott Kahan, MD, Director of the National Center for Weight and Wellness and Medical Director of Strategies to Overcome and Prevent (STOP) Obesity Alliance, presented on evidence-based treatments for obesity and guidelines for their implementation. This document summarizes the major takeaways from the webinar.
