Quick Survey Findings: Global Consistency Strategy

A total of 31 large employer members of Business Group on Health responded to this survey, conducted between October 7 and October 21, 2021. The purpose of this survey was to understand how global employers are approaching and structuring their global consistency strategy. This survey looks specifically at benefits included in the strategy and top barriers to implementing a strategy, for those employers that do not currently have a strategy in place.

Global employers have varying approaches to their global consistency strategy. Sixteen percent of participants have a global consistency strategy in place, and another 32% are considering implementing one. Sixty-three percent of participants without a global consistency strategy report that business strategy alignment is the top facilitator for implementing a strategy. Half of participants without a global consistency strategy report that market infrastructure challenges are the top barrier to implementing a strategy.
