High cost claimants account for 1-2% of large employers’ populations, but make up about a third of overall health care costs. Large employers have several tools at their disposal to help employees and their dependents with complex conditions to navigate the health care system, manage their costs, and remain productive in the workplace. The Business Group is hosting a series of webinars with expert partners that will help large employers better understand certain high cost conditions and how they can help employees and their dependents manage them.
Join this webinar for:
- An analysis of the impact of multiple sclerosis (MS) on the health of an individual, as well as costs associated with the treatment of the condition.
- Strategies for supporting employees with MS, including improving adherence to therapies that can stem the progression of MS and workplace supports to keep people in the workforce.
- Drivers of health care costs for multiple sclerosis and how they can be mitigated.
- Recommendations for employers about how they can support employees, their dependents, and caregivers to manage multiple sclerosis symptoms and costs when they occur.
