On December 4th, Business Group on Health will host the first of several Innovation Showcases that highlight thought leaders, innovative employers, and industry experts on a series of topics relevant to the future of health and well-being. These two-hour virtual events will present an opportunity for Business Group on Health members to gain knowledge on cutting-edge topics that impact the programs and services employers offer.

Our inaugural session will focus on artificial intelligence in health and well-being. While AI is not new to this space, new ways of applying this tool to address all manner of challenges related to clinical care, population health, benefits administration and employee navigation have accelerated recently. All of this has led to intense interest, concern, and uncertainty about the future of many industries, including health care.

In this Innovation Showcase, attendees will: 

• Learn from an industry thought leader about the state of AI in well-being and health care, as well as what to expect from AI in the coming years. 
• Hear from their employer peers and industry partners who are examining and deploying AI in new ways to support plan members, improve the employee experience, and reduce costs.
